Amy + Brad | Grant-Humphreys Mansion Wedding | Denver Wedding Photographer

May 20, 2014

Amy & Brad had a sweet winter wedding at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, followed by a Grant-Humphreys Mansion wedding reception.  Grant-Humphreys Mansion is a a beautiful, historic home in the heart of Denver.  It is a 30-room mansion, with a brick facade, beautiful balconies, and expansive columns.  The home was completed in 1902, and was designated a Denver landmark in 1976.  We had a really great time exploring all of the rooms, posing on the antique furniture, and the stunning staircase showed off Amy’s Maggie Sottero gown beautifully.

Amy & Brad’s wedding had some really nice details, with pops of purple and a fleur de lis motif throughout.  The bride even wore beautiful fleur de lis earrings and a necklace.  The fleur de lis theme was most prominent in the stunning wedding cake by Intricate Icings.  The cake looked beautiful, and everyone seemed to enjoy it immensely.   I wish I could reach through the computer right now and give you a piece of that cake to enjoy while viewing the photos…but hopefully the visual enjoyment is enough lol 🙂

I am absolutely in love with this photo that my 2nd shooter captured of sweet Miss Camryn looking in the mirror.  What a doll she is!

Amy gave Brad a book of her boudoir photos, for his wedding day gift.  He approved 🙂  Boudoir photos are a wonderful idea for your groom…contact me to set yours up today!

It was only about 7 degrees out, so we made the evening portraits very, very snappy (pun intended)!
