Candice + Marshall | Breckenridge Wedding Photos | Colorado Mountain Wedding

I have been looking forward to sharing these Breckenridge wedding photos with you since August!  Candice and Marshall had a lovely outdoor wedding at an amazing rental house in the heart of the Colorado mountains.  The house is called Rivertree Lodge, and was a really awesome spot for a wedding.  I want to say this was the first wedding at this location, but I could be remembering wrong.  Regardless, they had not done many weddings at this point.  They certainly won’t have trouble booking weddings there going forward, however.  The lovely couple and their energetic guests alike, had an amazing and memorable time.  There were a few tiny hiccups, like the DJ’s music cutting out a handful of times during the open dancing.  But it became a comical game for the guests!  They all freezed, or sang the next lyrics when it happened…they had fun with it 🙂  The DJ didn’t think it was quite so funny, but handled it like the pro that he was.

Candice and Marshall are a wonderful couple, and they had an equally wonderful wedding day.  I went to high school with Marshall, even though we didn’t know each other well.  When he proposed to Candice, his sister recommended that Candice contact me to photographer their big day.  I am so glad she did!  They were easy-going and obviously a beautiful couple.  They made my job a breeze!  Some of my favorite parts of their day were the sweet moments with Marshall’s daughter, Preslee, the beautiful luminary trail at night, the lively dance floor, and the fun times the guests had with the photo booth and the polaroid guestbook.  Their day included cute personalized details, in their navy blue and yellow color scheme.  It was all orchestrated flawlessly by Distinctive Mountain Events.  I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed capturing them!
