Candice + Marshall | Engagement Photos Boulder | Longmont Family Photography

Happy Friday friends!  This isn’t usually one of my blogging days, but as I mentioned at the beginning of the week, I have been up in Winter Park.  It was so beautiful up there, we really lucked out with some gorgeous spring weather.  I had fun with my sister, niece, and nephew, and then I got to check out 4 awesome wedding venues in Grand County, with the Trulife Studios gang.  We went to Granby Ranch, Winding River Ranch (the location of Travis and Lisa’s 2015 wedding), Crestview Ranch, and Strawberry Creek Ranch.  All of these are picturesque Colorado wedding venues, that I will happily recommend to any of my clients.  I really hope to shoot at all of them in the very near future!  This evening’s blog post is of Candice and Marshall’s engagement photos Boulder.  I have known Marshall since high school.  His sister was nice enough to bring up my name to his beautiful fiancé, Candice, when they got engaged.  I am so excited to be working with them, and capturing their Breckenridge wedding photos this summer.  We met at Coot Lake between Longmont and Boulder, for their winter engagement photos.  While their session was much windier than we hoped for, we made it work, and I am very pleased with how they came out.  Marshall’s daughter came along for a few Colorado family photos as well.  She is a sweetheart, and although she was freezing, she gave me some nice smiles 🙂  I absolutely loved Candice’s vibrant hot pink blouse (it’s my main branding color after all).  She had some wonderful engagement outfits, although she would look stunning even in a paper bag LOL!  I know she will be an absolutely breathtaking bride…I can’t wait to see in August.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend.  I don’t have any weddings or photo sessions, surprisingly, so I will be getting as much editing and blogging done as I can 🙂  AND, I have a dance to learn (oh boy!) for the Dance Dimensions 30th anniversary dance recital next weekend.  I haven’t danced in any capacity since 2010, and I haven’t performed myself since 2008.  And to say I am out of shape, would be a huge understatement…wish me luck!!
