Marlise + Mike | Glenmoor Country Club Wedding | Denver Wedding Photos

There is no better compliment than another photographer asking you to capture photos for them, or their family.  Especially on the most important day of their lives!  This is exactly how I came to work with Marlise and Mike.  Marlise’s sister, Kristina, is my photographer buddy.  Kristina is also quite often my trusty and talented second shooter.  I was so grateful to have her refer her sister to me 🙂  It was definitely different having Kristina on the other side of the camera and I know she was out of her comfort zone.  She, however, did it for her sister.  Marlise and Mike had a beautiful Glenmoor Country Club wedding last fall.  This was my first time photographing at this venue.  It is a great option for those planning a Colorado golf course wedding.  There is so much green everywhere you look, which is fitting today since it’s St. Patrick’s Day!

Lots of my couples have fun together, but Marlise and Mike definitely take it to another level!  These two laugh together a ton 🙂  It is a true joy to watch.  They no doubt had the BEST DAY EVER (as the little hearts at their reception read)!  Some of the most memorable parts of their wedding were the adorable Jack Daniels garter Marlise wore.  Also, when Mike surprised her by sending an “Uber” to take the ladies to the country club.  Really, it was a beautiful white limo!  We can’t forget when the smoke alarms were going off at the reception and the firetruck showed up to ensure everything was safe.  Although this would thoroughly stress out many couples, these two handled it so well.  All was well at the venue, and we even captured the firetruck in the background of some of their photos.  Finally, Mike’s hilarious garter removal.  He pulled a “for rent” sign, tongs, and even a rubber chicken out from under Marlise’s dress.  Everyone had a good laugh…I told you they like to have fun together!  Wishing you a lifetime of love and laughter together, Marlise and Mike 🙂
