Katie & Tyson were united in marriage at the Pax Christi Catholic Church in Littleton. Their ceremony was followed by a beautiful & fun Highlands Ranch Mansion wedding reception. What an absolutely stunning couple, bridal party & venue! Katie and Tyson were such wonderful hosts to all of their guests, it was clear everyone had an amazing time.
Katie & Tyson put a lot of thought and planning into their wedding, and considering they moved to Alabama months before the wedding, I am impressed everything came together so flawlessly. Some of my favorite details from the day were the gorgeous centerpieces, the colorful and sweet candy buffet, the running-themed groom’s cake, and the bride’s stunning gown. Tyson looked great as well, in a gray suit and fun yellow and gray argyle socks!
The wedding day was so full of joy, laughter and love! Everyone had a good laugh when the couple smashed cake into their best man & maid of honor’s faces (see photos below), and during Katie & her dad’s choreographed father-daughter dance. The reception was a very energetic party, that included people flying in the air, sliding on the ground, spinning, kicks and splits!
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Wallace! Thank you so much for allowing me to share in your beautiful wedding day. Wishing you a lifetime of laughs & love!
xoxo,
Melissa
Ok, enough “talking”…here are some pictures already!
Dance was such an important part of Katie’s life for so many years, her mom pulled out her old ballet slippers for a few photos 🙂 This was so sweet…I loved it!
A journal with lyrics from “Into the Mystic” by Van Morrison, the couple’s first dance song!
This photo cracks me up! Little Amelia getting her shoes on, grabs onto her mom’s head for balance…adorable!!
Katie’s custom dress label was her “something blue”!
Katie wore her mom’s veil with some modifications. It was a beautiful veil to go with her beautiful bridal gown!
Somebody got tired of standing during the ceremony!
Three generations of love!
I love capturing photos of grooms looking at their ring or playing with their ring. Brides often have a year or so to get use to wearing a ring, the wedding day is usually the first day the groom wears a ring and I often catch them playing with it 🙂
The Highlands Ranch Mansion is a truly gorgeous venue!
Katie with her sorority sisters. They presented her with a “wedding day paddle”! Such a gorgeous group of friends.
Katie & Tyson changed things up, and smashed cake in their maid of honor and best man’s faces instead of each others. It was hilarious!!
Katie and her dad did a choreographed dance for the father-daughter dance. They did an amazing job, and everyone was in stitches!
It was a really great party, the dance floor was packed!
