Another new month is upon us. And then 2018…wow, that really flew by! This is the third year I have had the pleasure of capturing Loveland Colorado family photos for the Lerit family. Will and I use to work together, it’s been great keeping in touch this way. It always means so much to me when friends and clients come back, year after year for photos 🙂 I love documenting these families each year, seeing their kiddos grow and change.
For this year’s Loveland Colorado family photos we went to Bobcat Ridge Natural Area…twice! We tried to make it work on the first day, but the wind was insane! The wind is so tough. In my opinion, it’s the hardest weather to shoot in. Snow, rain, you can make these work, and they can even be really beautiful. Wind, however, is really challenging. Especially with females, with long hair. Besides the wind, it was just cold and gloomy too. We shot for maybe 15 minutes before we called it, and decided to reschedule. The second portion of the session was beautiful and sunny. Much better all around! They wore the same outfits and we went to the same location, so the photos would still flow together. You can really only tell by the lighting and the sky, that we shot on two very different days. Gloomy and overcast on day one, sunny and light blue skies on day two 🙂
The Lerit family is always fun to photograph, too, because we get a lot of candids of them. Usually tossing a football, since they share a love for the sport (although they don’t share a love for one team!). Soon I will be capturing some snowy senior photos for Cam. Like I said…time sure does fly!

Have a great weekend all! If you are on the Colorado front range, like me, enjoy the 60° temps again! It is December, right LOL?
