Meagan + Eric | Laramie Wedding Photography | Vee Bar Ranch Wedding

July 29, 2014

I was so excited to return to Wyoming this summer for another beautiful, rustic wedding.  Who would have guessed that Laramie wedding photography would be among my favorite…well, especially when it means another Vee Bar Ranch wedding!  Meagan and Eric hired me after I shot her brother CJ, and his wife, Danielle’s wedding last summer.  When clients refer me to friends and family, it makes my heart so happy 🙂  This is truly the best compliment that I can receive!  Thank you so much Danielle and CJ.

Meagan and Eric are a wonderful and sweet couple, that planned an equally wonderful and sweet wedding.  I loved the yellow and gray color scheme, and all of the natural, rustic elements incorporated throughout their day.  The aspen tree centerpieces, the silly groomsmen, the donkey-drawn cart reception entrance, and the super fun dance floor (with special performances, and even a skit), were definitely my favorite parts of the day.

Without fail, grooms always play with their ring on the wedding day!  Brides have months (sometimes years) getting use to wearing a ring, but this is typically the first day a groom wears it.  Thanks to my second shooter, Cary, for capturing this candid moment!

And we were off to the Vee Bar Ranch for the beautiful, rustic reception!

Meagan looked ah-ma-zing!!  That dress was so perfect for her.  Eric is a lucky man 🙂

Oh, these groomsmen were hilarious!  There was jumping, tree climbing, kung fu fighting, photobombing…and lots of laughs!

Meagan bought this beautiful parasol for her bridal portraits.  It complimented her dress very well.

You know me…I love shooting through things!  I shot through the lace of the parasol, and I love the result 🙂

The weather in Laramie is always unpredictable…even in June!  Good thing Meagan brought this beautiful pashmina wrap, because it got chilly!

Meagan and Eric entered their reception on a donkey-drawn cart 😉  It was a very unique, memorable moment from their day!

I loved the aspen tree centerpieces, I have never seen this before!  It really fit the natural, earthy theme 🙂
