My Sweet Niece & Nephews | Longmont Child Photography | Lone Hawk Farm

I don’t share many personal posts on my blog…I need to do more!!  About a month before mother’s day I was trying to think of a gift for my mom.  Nearly every time I would see her, she would ask if I had any new photos of her grandkids.  I decided it would be a perfect gift for her.  So I plotted with my sisters to do a secret shoot, without my mom knowing.  The folks over at Lone Hawk Farm were nice enough to let me go shoot on their property.  My sisters worked together to have coordinating outfits on the kiddos…they looked adorable 🙂  We of course had to incorporate purple.  I mean, with the last name of Plum, we all love purple…especially my mom!  The weather had us very worried, as it was just a few days before Mother’s Day, and with my sisters’ work schedules, this was really our only opportunity.  It was raining on the way over to the farm, but we lucked out!  There were a few raindrops here in there, but with how crazy rainy it has been this month, we were very pleased!

I don’t often do Longmont child photography, without also having the parents in the photos.  It was very helpful to have my sisters there, standing behind me, making funny noises, trying to get the kids to look and actually smile 🙂  They all had their uncooperative moments, of course!  But I think the photos came out very cute.  My mom cried when she opened her gift!  Mission accomplished!  So check out these cuties, that call me Auntie Lissa (or Issa)…Bryanna, Bennett, Taittinger, and Cade.  I love them and their fun little personalities!  I am so excited to continue to watch them grow!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!  I am heading to North Dakota for a wedding with my family.  Attending a wedding as a guest…that’s different!
