Ashley + Joe | Colorado Engagement Photography | Mt. Falcon Park

Meet Ashley and Joe!  They are a sweet couple getting married this summer in Copper Mountain.  I am so excited for their wedding, because I love Colorado ski resort weddings, and I love this awesome couple 🙂  Annnd…we are going to share wedding anniversaries.  That’s right, they are also getting married on July 3rd, my husband and I’s 6th wedding anniversary.  It’s definitely a great day to get married!  For their Colorado engagement photography session we went to one of my favorite locations, Mount Falcon Park.  Considering winter was just about upon us, it was a a beautiful, sunny day.  There was still a little bit of snow on the ground, but it was a wonderful afternoon.  We started at this cute, quirky, little park near Fiddler’s Green, because Ashley and Joe wanted to incorporate their dogs into some of the photos (and they live near the park).  That park had this cool wooden “hut” structure, that looks really cool in photos.  It’s not hard to talk me into a lengthy engagement session, because I just love photographing them so much!  By the time we were finishing up at Mount Falcon, the moon was starting to make it’s appearance.  A lengthy shoot allowed for multiple outfit changes as well.  They made some wonderful outfit choices, I especially loved Ashley’s tribal-inspired sweater.  They even had some cute, colorful little sweaters for their dogs!

Oh how I love this one, with that gorgeous sunlight streaming through 🙂

I hope you have a wonderful weekend, friends!  I have the weekend off from photo shoots, but will be having some family time as we attend my niece’s 2nd dance concert.  She did so good last year, I can’t wait to see her perform again 🙂  It makes this dancer auntie so proud.  Next week on the blog I will be sharing Rachel and Kevin’s beautiful Pine wedding, another Colorado family session, and hopefully my first of several posts from Conference 12.  You don’t want to miss beautiful Miss Ellie’s retro swimwear senior session!  Check back soon, won’t ya?!
