Happy Valentine’s day all! I hope it’s been a great day with the people you love. For my first blog post of the new week, I bring you the Stanton family. You may recognize this family, as I have photographed them multiple times before. I used to dance with Alyssa for the Colorado Eagle’s Chicks. It’s always wonderful to see her, catch up, and capture memories for her adorable family! For this Longmont family photography session we met up at Golden Ponds. Aside from all the other great photo vignettes that Golden Ponds offers, this time we also got some great fall foliage.
I know I have said it before, but I love being able to work with clients again and again. It’s always so wonderful to see how the kids have grown and changed each time. And to see their little personalities come alive! Then once they are old enough, they start to remember me. I am no longer a stranger. It will take less and less time for the children to warm up to me during the session, and get some great shots. I think this has got to be my favorite session with the Stanton family so far. Especially all of the natural, candid photos we captured. Kids can get bored with too many smiling at the camera shots, so I try to make it fun for them. Meanwhile also getting nice family portraits that the parents will cherish for years to come!
This is definitely one of my favorites from the Stanton’s Longmont family photography session. These kiddos are so precious! Love the joy and laughter in this candid moment.
Thank you Stanton family for supporting my little business year after year. It means the world to me! I hope you had an amazing Valentine’s Day loving on these precious kiddos. I really hope to have your smiling faces in front of my camera again, very soon. On the blog next, a cool, unique senior session with Ally. We did her photos at the funky selfie museum in Denver, and she looked like a professional model.
