I have been waiting to shoot a Strawberry Creek Ranch wedding since I first found out the venue existed! It is in Granby, which is where my in-laws’ cabin is. Therefore, it’s a very desirable venue for me because I have a “home away from home” up there. I had visited the venue prior to Anna and Jim’s wedding, and shot some photos there. So I was very comfortable with the lay of the land, and the best spots for photos on the property. I was just needing to book an awesome couple there! That’s where my fellow Trulifer Rami comes in 🙂 She is an awesome wedding planner and coordinator, and the face behind Pick Me Events. Rami and Anna have been friends for years. Anna was looking for a photographer that lives and works up in Grand County. Although I am only part time up there, I was selected to work with them to capture their Strawberry Creek Ranch wedding photography.
I loved the simplicity and sweetness of Anna and Jim’s big day. It was completely family-centered, as they officially united their families. They are obviously warm and wonderful people! The proof of that is that they had loved ones travel from great distances, Poland and Canada to name a few, to celebrate with them. Their children played important roles by standing as bridesmaids and a groomsman. Some of my favorite parts of their day were Anna’s classy and stunning bridal gown, the adorable flower girls and ring bearers. As well as the emotional and hilarious wedding toasts, stunning mountain views during their first dance, and fun “LOVE” balloon props that found their way onto the dance floor 🙂 Thank you so much Anna and Jim for entrusting me to capture your Strawberry Creek Ranch wedding photos. These kids were so excited for wedding cake. And this daring little lady went for it…she couldn’t wait for the plate and just ate off the cake server LOL!
