Amy and Ryan are a sweet couple getting married at the Museum of Nature and Science in September! The couple also got engaged in Denver, when Ryan popped the question on a nighttime horse-drawn carriage ride through the city. How romantic! The couple wanted mountains and water for their engagement photos, and suggested Estes Park. I did some scouting around the area and we decided on Lake Estes, and a few downtown shots for their Estes Park engagement photos. It was a super fun session, and the location was truly picturesque (minus all the elk poop LOL)! It was a wee bit windy, but that seems to be the case this time of year. I had them do a lot of snuggling, so they didn’t freeze, and I think they came out adorably! I love shooting in Estes Park, and hope to do a lot more of it! Although, I simply must get some salt water taffy next time I am there…it seemed wrong not to come home with some 🙂 Yum!!
I loved the cute signs that Amy brought along for their photos. I am always happy to oblige when couple have some fun ideas in mind. They also selected some great outfits for their photos. I know it was chillier than Amy had hoped for, but I think her purple peacoat looked stunning in photos 🙂 For ideas on what to wear for your own engagement photos, check out my Pinterest board!
Thanks so much Amy and Ryan. I am so very excited for your September wedding!
xoxo,
Melissa
