Jill and John had a beautiful Sanctuary Golf Course wedding in January. I have attended a wedding at Sanctuary, but this was my first time actually shooting a wedding there…it’s just awesome! Jill and John really lucked out with an absolutely beautiful, sunny day. Although it wasn’t as warm as a summer wedding, it was unseasonably warm for winter. The bride didn’t even have to wear a shawl or shrug. I just love how sunny AND snowy their photos are! Jill looked amazing in her lace dress and sock bun updo. The bridal party were all in navy blue. I thought navy blue suits for the guys was pretty unique (you mostly see gray and black). I think this looked great!
They held their ceremony at a nearby Catholic church. Since the wedding was just after the new year, the church still had all of their Christmas decorations up, that looked beautiful. I especially love how the trees with the white lights look in photos. A special thanks to Carylee Photography for having me shoot alongside her. We have shot tons and tons of weddings together now, we definitely have our flow down 🙂
And then it was first look time!
I just love this one of Jill…such pure joy!
So happy and then moments later…SO upset 🙁
Love how the sun came streaming through the windows!
I love how the drink stirrers are little golf tees…adorable!
Jill and John did their first dance right after entering into their reception. They were surrounded by their parents and their bridal party, it was so sweet!
What a beautiful celebration, congrats Jill & John! Hopefully this snowy, winter wedding got you excited for snow this weekend! Crazy Colorado weather…snow on Mother’s Day, really?! Stay warm out there 🙂
xoxo,
Melissa
