Back in 2013, I went to my first Bob and Dawn Davis real wedding workshop in Charleston, South Carolina. Jenni and Stevn had an amazing wedding at a beautiful, old church, with a fabulously detailed reception at the William Aiken House. This was my first time to South Carolina, and capturing Charleston wedding photography. These two were just amazing to work with! Stevn, is the son of a photographer, so he is very use to being in front of a camera. Then Jenni, is just as beautiful and photogenic as could be. They were so sweet and welcoming of all of us photographers, and I learned a ton of new techniques at their wedding weekend. The day after the wedding, they got back into their wedding attire and we did a sort of “trash the dress” style shoot. We photographed them on the unique checkered floor of the US Customs House. And then they had some fun splashing around with the little kids in the Pineapple Fountain! It had been a long, fun-filled weekend, so it was time for this couple to catch a few zzzs before they headed out for their Italian honeymoon. This may be my last “From the Archives” post for a little while, because my crazy busy schedule has begun!
One of my favorite photos ever of a bride…pure joy!!
I am so excited for two beautiful mountain weddings this weekend! Wedding season is upon us…it’s going to be a great summer 🙂
