Lynnsey + Jeff | Denver Engagement Photography | Colorado Engagement Photos

Well, it’s a scorcher out there!  Therefore, I am bringing you a snowy Denver engagement photography session, to send you some cooler vibes 😉  About three weeks ago I photographed Lynnsey and Jeff’s beautiful Sanctuary Golf Course wedding.  I am still working away on those photos.  In the meantime, I wanted to share their winter engagement photos real quick!  I shoot at Red Rocks quite a bit.  It was really fun to go there with snow on the ground, it was quite different.  Winter engagement photos are way underrated…I quite love them!  Lynnsey and Jeff’s session was no exception, we had so much fun together.  After shooting all around Red Rocks park and amphitheater, we drove to the neighboring Matthews Winters Park.  This was a new location for me (which I alway love), and suggested by my lovely couple.  I look forward to returning there at some point as well, to explore a little bit more.  But what I did see was beautiful.  There are pretty mountain views, a tiny, adorable bridge, a nice stream, and great mature trees.  On this occasion there was also snow as far as the eye could see!

I really loved the outfits they picked out for their winter photos.  Lynnsey’s vibrant peacoat and scarf were so cute.  They photographed beautifully against the red rocks and snowy backdrop!  I loved that they wanted to sport their Peyton Manning shirts for a few photos at the end too.  It was a super fun session, and I hope these photos capture that fun 🙂

I don’t usually ask clients to do jumping shots (it’s not really my jam!), but they wanted to jump into some fresh snow…so I captured it 😉
