Oh hey there, July, where did you come from? Every year seems to go faster and faster, I swear! I had so much fun with Ann and James during their engagement photos Colorado. We lucked out with a beautifully sunny winter day in Denver. Their engagement session included several locations, and multiple colorful outfit changes. I am fortunate to work with many wonderful clients…and these two were no exception. They are two of the sweetest people I know, and working with them for their engagement and wedding photography has been an absolute pleasure 🙂 I will be sharing their gorgeous Highlands Ranch Mansion wedding just as soon as I can! We started their Denver engagement photography session at Red Rocks Amphitheater. Ann had on a beautiful green and orange sari, and James had a very nice suit. I always love when couples choose to dress up for their photos.
After spending a good amount of time at Red Rocks, we went over to Cheesman Park in Denver. This location has a completely different vibe, so of course they needed a different outfit! Ann was a beautiful lady in red. And just like the song by Chris de Burgh says “The lady in red is dancing with me, cheek to cheek. There’s nobody here, it’s just you and me. It’s where I want to be.”, they danced alone under the large pillars of Cheesman Park. I told you they were sweet! We stopped by Washington Park for some quick photos as the sun set, and the moon took it’s place. Lastly, we ended their session with some nighttime photos around Larimer Square. A casual outfit worked great with the chilly nighttime air, and amongst the white lights of Larimer Square.
I like how the horse is staring right at the camera LOL!
