Kristin + Chandler | Longmont Engagement Photography | Coot Lake Boulder

A new month is upon us, and almost a new year!  I cannot believe how quickly this year has flown by.  2017 is going to be amazing, and I am so excited (but quite nervous) to adjust to life as a new parent and business owner.  You know me, the off-season is usually full of blogging around here.  This off-season should be no exception!  I have over 40 blog posts to share with you in the coming months 🙂  First up for December, is Kristin & Chandler’s Longmont engagement photography session from Coot Lake.  With Chandler’s busy schedule and frequent trips out-of-state, we decided to keep their Colorado engagement photos on the day we had planned, despite less than ideal weather.  We dealt with rain and wind, but we didn’t let it bring us down and I kinda love the way they turned out!  We even got a few minutes with a beautiful rainbow.

I have known Kristin for years, we went to high school together.  Although I am a few years older, she is very close friends with my sister-in-law.  I was able to work with Kristin already, when she was a bridesmaid at my sister and brother-in-law’s wedding in Santa Barbara.  When she got engaged and reached out to me, I was very excited 🙂  I was not able to meet Chandler until the day of their engagement session.  He is a great guy, and they have a lot of fun together!  One of the fun things they enjoy doing is gambling, especially scratch lottery tickets.  One day Kristin received a very special scratch ticket that revealed three diamond ring icons.  She got very excited as she scratched the prize box, where it said “Will You Marry Me?”.  Chandler then presented her with her real ring, and the rest is history.  What an adorable engagement story, to someday share with their grandchildren!
