Hey, hey…I am on a roll with all of these new blog posts! This one is a very special post for me, because it’s my own family! My amazing parents hired me to capture photos of my sisters and I, and our spouses and children. These are the most important people in my life. I cannot adequately express my love or gratitude for all they do for me. Unwavering support for my business and dreams, is just the beginning of it π Finding time in all of our busy lives to capture these Longmont family pictures was certainly challenging. We were all able to make Labor Day work, however, and headed over to Golden Ponds for the session.
At times these Longmont family pictures were quite challenging for me. I had to set up a tripod, run in and out of the photos (and not look like a sweaty mess). Meanwhile hoping all the kiddos look at the camera, instead of at me hoping around and running in and out! It admittedly required some photoshop to get all of us looking π But I am pretty happy with how they all turned out! We did not get any views this day. This was the time of the horrible California wildfires and the effects could be experienced even here. It was so smokey and the mountain were no where in sight. We couldn’t reschedule, so we made it work. At least Golden Ponds has the little waterfall and bridge, to still give the photos some interesting backdrops.
My older sis, Angela, and her lively, energetic boys!
My twin (“younger by a minute”) sister, Michelle, and her cute family.
Bryanna is completely outnumbered when it comes to the grandkids. Even though our baby is 7 years younger than her, she had still really hoped for a girl cousin π Sorry Bryanna!
The very best parents a girl could ever ask for <3 Derek and I hope to be half the parents they are!
And finally…me and my boys!! The loves of my life π This was our first official, professional family photo, so I got a big canvas for our hallway.
The original Plum crew!Β With the last name Plum, we just had to include purple in our group color scheme. Gray, navy, and small touches of black and white looked great against the greenery. It’s great for extended family sessions to dress in a way so their outfits coordinate, without being too “matchy matchy” π
It was Angela and Eric’s 9 year wedding anniversary, so we had to do a few extra photos of these lovebirds!
We ended our Longmont family pictures with a few shots of papa and his only granddaughter!
Thanks for checking out my precious family’s photos. If you are interested in scheduling your own extended family session, contact me now. I would love to work with you!
