Monday again! Why can’t the weekends be just a LITTLE longer? Especially during these warm summer months. I photographed a bunch of awesomeness this weekend…so that was great! If you follow me on Facebook, you will see sneak peeks from the past three days very soon 🙂 A few months ago, when things were quite a bit slower, I participated in a fun styled shoot in Denver. I had the pleasure of working with Rebecca and Ben. Capturing these Clock Tower Denver wedding photos for them was really fun. We even had a “surprise proposal” during the photos. Ok, not really, but Ben really wanted to propose on camera, and it was cute and sweet, even for the second time around.
For years I have wanted to capture a Clock Tower Denver wedding. It is a very unique Denver venue, right along the famous 16th street mall, in the heart of downtown. While I most frequently shoot rustic barn weddings, or epic mountain locations, it is so much fun to mix things up now and again and photograph a contemporary, city wedding too! To see even more beautiful, modern wedding inspiration from this styled shoot, check out my previous blog post here.
You just can’t shoot at the Clocktower without doing a silhouette shot LOL…it just demands it!
You know me…I love shooting through things to make interesting and artistic imagery. There was a vase with tree branches and dangling crystals off to the side here, and I was inspired! I think this one is a favorite from their gallery. I love the way it turned out!

Coming to the blog later this week, a jaw-droppingly gorgeous Keystone wedding from Timber Ridge Lodge. Seriously, this couple looks like a couple of wedding models (check back!!). It was so very stunning and amazing and I cannot wait to share it here! If you are planning your own Colorado wedding…whether a tiny elopement like Rebecca and Ben’s above, or a large, elaborate affair, I would love to chat soon 🙂 Enjoy you week, friends!
A special thank you to all of the awesome vendors that made this shoot a reality!
