The Laughlin Family | Family Photos in Longmont Colorado | Sandstone Ranch

Here it is…my 10th session with the Laughlin bunch! They have expanded by three, and the “big kids” have grown into adults. I have enjoyed working with them each and every time. I guess except for maybe the one recent session where we drove all the way into the mountains to Brainard Lake, just to get rained out. But this make-up session went wonderfully! For these family photos in Longmont we met up at Sandstone Ranch. Maybe not the epic views that Brainard Lake, but we got some gorgeous images nonetheless. Again the weather had us a little worried. This time it was the wind. We decided to go for it, because this was already a reschedule. Finding another date for a family of seven, plus me was going to be too much of a hassle. So glad we decided to go for it! The wind calmed down, the lighting was gorgeous. We were thrilled with how the session turned out.

Sandstone Ranch has some great variety for photo opps in an easily walkable distance. We took advantage of it all! We got photos on the bridge, sitting on the log, and in front of the rustic wooden barn. The wide open, grassy fields during golden hour were just stunning. So we most definitely took advantage of that! A few photos by the sandstone rock formations and the still, serene ponds rounded out this wonderful evening session with the Laughlin family.

This is definitely one of my favorites of these family photos in Longmont. I loved how little Austin is looking back like “Hey lady, are you coming along too?” LOL! Laughlin family…love you guys! Thank you for being THE biggest supporters of my little business. You guys are the best, and I am so, so grateful for you all 🙂 I cannot wait to see what the next 10 sessions have in store for us! Well fingers crossed…I would love to have you as clients for many years to come. On the blog next, beautiful Miss Bailey’s senior portraits. Those were also in Longmont.
