Happy Cinco de Mayo friends! Today on the blog I am bringing you Brooke and Graham’s Red Rocks wedding pictures. This Texas couple and a handful of their closest friends traveled to Colorado for this intimate summer wedding. The Red Rocks Trading Post is actually where I got married nearly twelve years ago. I had hoped to eventually shoot a wedding there. Brooke and Graham made it happen for me! It was a short and sweet “micro wedding”, but beautiful nonetheless. I have shot wedding portraits within Red Rocks Park a handful of times, but those weddings were always held elsewhere. Hearing their vows in the very spot I made my own was truly special for me too. It was hard to not be flooded with emotion and all the feels right along with them!
Red Rocks is such an important place for these two. They have traveled here for numerous concerts over the years. So what a perfect spot to start their marriage journey together! Well I think so at least 😉 The biggest change at this location since I got married there is the fact that they have added fences everywhere so you can no longer get on any of the rock formations. I get that for safety reasons, but it does make it a little more limiting as a photographer. That could not keep me from getting them some Pinterest-worthy images from their beautiful wedding celebration. It was definitely worth photoshopping a few fences out LOL!
This is definitely one of my favorites from their Red Rocks wedding pictures. Soft, sweet moment, jaw-dropping background, gorgeous couple and bouquet…I loved it all!
Thank you so much location twinsies! I was so honored to capture these photos for you guys. I hope married life is treating you well so far and that you have a lifetime of Red Rocks concert fun in your future together! Next on the blog, Ashley’s Silver Creek High School senior photos from Golden Ponds and the Bee Hugger Farm. I hope you will check back very soon. Time to finish my Cinco de Mayo margarita and head off to bed!
