Hannah – Class of 2022 | Spring Colorado Senior Pictures | Skyline High School

Today on the blog, the lovely Hannah! I always love the opportunity to capture photos for siblings. Years ago, I did Hannah’s sister Amelie’s senior portraits too. She was an amazing ballerina, and I loved her session too. Check those out HERE! Hannah wasn’t sure if she even wanted to have professional photos done, so she was a little late to the game. She didn’t get these in in time for the Skyline High School yearbook, but I am sure glad she decided to book these spring Colorado senior pictures regardless. You only get to have your senior year once, and it’s fun to preserve these memories to look back on for years to come.

For Hannah’s session we went to two Longmont locations to get her some great variety. It was springtime so we wanted to incorporate the colorful blossoming trees. You only get these for a few short weeks each year, so we just had to take advantage! We went to Roosevelt Park for the blossoming trees. There weren’t a ton this year (and believe me I drove ALL over!), but we still got some beautiful stuff. After a handful of photos with the colorful trees, we headed over to the visitor’s center of Sandstone Ranch. Things hadn’t really greened up yet, but the golden fields during golden hour still looked gorgeous. We, of course, also captured photos with the rustic 1880s barn, the bridge, and with the ponds.

Hannah wore two outfits for her session. One per location, so that made things easy! She started casual in a black flowy tank top and jeans. Then even though we didn’t have any blooming flowers at Sandstone Ranch, she made up for it by wearing a floral dress! She kept true to her own easy-going style by wearing comfy sneakers with her dress. Hannah is beautiful inside and out, and I had such a blast capturing these

Oh wait…maybe this one below is my favorite! I just can’t decide LOL! Hannah has such a pretty, genuine smile in this one, and that golden field during golden hour can’t be beat.

Thanks again Hannah, it was wonderful to work together! I sure wish I had more opportunities to capture spring senior portraits. It’s the “off season” for seniors here, as most yearbook deadlines are in October or November. So if teens want senior photos during the spring, they have to shoot them their junior year. Or perhaps due multiple senior sessions, during different seasons…I am always up for that!
