Happy Monday friends! I hope you had an amazing weekend. Today on the blog, meet Kaydence. What an amazing time we had during her Longmont High senior portraits! We were able to capture an absolute ton of variety. Kaydence is a cheerleader at Longmont High School, so we started our session there. This was my own alma mater, so it brought back a ton of memories being on the football field, and in the bleachers. Kaydence has been a competitive cheerleader for many years, and so she brought along all her former uniforms to incorporate into the photos. These are some of my favorites from the session…we had a lot of fun playing around with the colorful uniforms!
After photo on the field and in the bleachers, actions shots, and smiling portraits, we headed to the alleyways of downtown Longmont for the urban portion of the session. Her Kaydence had one main outfit, black jeans and a black and white flannel. She added a beanie for some photos, and her letterman jacket for others. We found a lot of cool little photo vignettes while we were downtown, along historical main street in Longmont. Colorful murals, brick walls, benches and staircases. So much great variety!
Finally, we headed over to Golden Ponds and used every last ounce of daylight. At Golden Ponds, Kaydence quickly put her cheerleading uniform back on. She had one photo on a wooden ladder that she really wanted to bring to life, and they had not carried the ladder onto the football field previously. So I found a spot with some pretty fall foliage just steps from where they parked. It worked great! Then she changed into a red floral summer dress. We got a bunch of photos by the waterfall in that. And some where she even went into the water! Her last outfit was a colorful, cozy fall sweater and ripped jeans. This was casual, but not boring and looked great with the scenery of the nature area.
This is definitely one of my favorites from Kaydence’s Longmont High senior portraits. I love all the colors and bling from the uniforms framing her face. A unique, fun shot…if I do say so myself!
What a fun session Kaydence, thank you for being so agreeable, sweet and photogenic! Enjoy these final months of high school. Time flies so quickly, before you know it you will be having your 20th reunion 😉 On the blog tomorrow, the adorable Boone family’s Longmont fall family mini session from the Idaho Creek Open Space Park. Have a great week ahead!
