The Sommervold Family | Family Photos in Lyons | Bohn Park Colorado

I have known this bunch for many years…well especially Brooke! We went to Northridge Elementary School together back in the day. Brent went to Longmont High School with us as well. Then the boys I have captured on more than one occasion, they have grown up in front of my lens! I even did Kian’s senior photos in the summer of 2018. We went to Bohn Park for their family photos in Lyons Colorado. This is such a pretty spot, especially when the fall foliage is at its peek. We got some absolutely stunning colors…yellow, golds, even some reddish oranges. It doesn’t hurt that they are such a good-looking and photogenic family.

I definitely need to do more sessions at Bohn Park, it’s such a great spot! I love the river access, and all of the bridges. There are also rustic fences, lots of mature trees, and some foothills views. The guys were giving Brooke a bit of a hard time saying her dress was a “Little House on the Prairie” look, but I think she looked amazing! Her hair is always on point too, as a hair stylist herself. She has cut and colored my hair for years…and is so talented at it! The guys all wore nice jeans, and long sleeve, solid colored shirts. They all looked well put together, and I love that their outfits weren’t “matchy matchy”.

This is one of my favorites from their family photos in Lyons. I love the sun streaming through that ultra colorful tree, the unique pose, and their gorgeous smiles!

Thanks so much Brent, Brooke, Kian, and Calvin. Always great to have you guys in front of my camera! I hope you loved the way these photos turned out, and will cherish them for years to come.
