Meet Hunter! Today on the blog I am sharing his class of 2025 Echo Lake senior photos. Hunter and his family were visiting from out-of-state. He decided to make his senior photos really unique by taking them in the beautiful Colorado mountains. Since most of his classmates probably all have very similar senior photos in their hometown, I bet his will really stand out! Hunter was a really kind, soft-spoken young man. I really enjoyed working together. I appreciate he and his parents’ willingness to meet at a halfway point between my home and the mountain town they were visiting. Echo Lake worked really well for his session. It’s always gorgeous there, but it often seems to be about 10 or 20° colder there than you would expect. It started to get really cold at the end, and then it even started to snow! Crazy Colorado weather sometimes. You just never know what you are going to get!
Hunter, like a lot of senior guys, kept his senior photography attire pretty simple. He wore khaki shorts and brown boat shoes throughout the session. He started in a short sleeve, striped Nike polo shirt. Then he put on a long sleeve, black shirt. It was getting colder then, so that at least hid some of the goosebumps LOL! Hunter was very easy-going. But he did have one request towards the end of the session…he wanted to walk in the middle of the road. We made it happen, and it made it pretty memorable that the snow began to fall just as we were capturing these walking shots. We headed back down the road toward Idaho Springs, and made one more quick stop along the side of the highway. Here we got a few more mountain shots, as well as a few photos in an aspen grove. Then we called it a day, so they could get back to their “summer vacation”. Getting snowed on during your summer vacation, sounds like Colorado!

This is definitely one of my favorites from Hunter’s Echo Lake senior photos. What a great smile and I love that gorgeous mountain view!

Thanks so much Hunter. I hope you and your family had an amazing trip to the Colorado mountains, full of joyful memories to last a lifetime. I hope your senior year is also full of fun memories and treasured moments! Next on the blog, Bryanna and Cody’s Boulder engagement photos. It’s so fun to see my senior clients grow up and come back to me for the other major milestones in life. I have captured Bryanna’s high school and college senior pictures. Next year I will capture her and Cody’s Lionscrest Manor wedding too. Makes me feel kinda old, but really makes me feel special too!
