Madelyn – Class of 2025 | Senior Portraits in Boulder Colorado | South Mesa Trail

You may remember last year when I photographed a group of young ladies that was visiting Colorado for a softball tournament. Those beauties have all graduated and moved on. But their younger teammates came out from South Dakota for the same tournament this summer. I had the opportunity to photograph a few of them. Also at South Mesa Trail for this year’s ladies. Can’t blame them, it’s a picture-perfect location for senior portraits in Boulder Colorado. Madelyn was the first up for her senior session. She was such a sweet and beautiful young lady. She was so photogenic, and made the session a whole lot of fun!

Madelyn went with three different outfits for her session. I love that she incorporated color! So often clients go very neutral. I personally love vibrant colors, and do suggest at least one colorful outfit choice. Madelyn delivered. She started in trendy jeans, wedge shoes, and a fun puff-sleeve red top. Next she changed into a short, teal dress. These two vibrant colors looked so great with her long, brunette locks. Her final outfit was the most neutral/subtle. That was adorable sage green pants, and a floral top with a sweet little tie detail. Madelyn looked great in everything she wore! We took photos at all of the “hot spots” that South Mesa Trail offers. The wooden bridge, stone building, with the fences, in some open fields, and of course, with lots of mountain backdrops.

This is definitely one of my favorites from Madelyn’s senior portraits in Boulder Colorado. I love all of the color in this photo, and her joyful smile. It could light up a room!
