I have been so excited to share Cynthia and Nathan’s wedding weekend here on the blog. Day one was their gorgeous and memorable Denver museum wedding photography. Day two I will share within the next few days. That was a fun-filled bike decorating and morning reception event. Followed by a bike ride through downtown Denver. So unique and so cool! Cynthia and Nathan found my business through my blogged images of Caroline and Caleb’s museum wedding at the same venue. They really liked my images and so they wanted me to capture their wedding photos as well. I was so happy to be working together. The Denver Museum of Nature and Science is such a great place for a city wedding!
Besides the fun venue, there was so much to love about Cynthia and Nathan’s July wedding celebration. Not only did Cynthia and Nathan do a sweet first look outside of the museum, but they also shared private vows together there. I gifted them the vow books, I was very happy to see them get used. After their vows (and lots of hugs and kisses) were exchanged, we captured some couple’s portraits outdoors at the venue. There was a very cool art installation, that I had never seen before. That and the turquoise glass on that side of the building made a great photo vignette. Next we moved inside for a few wedding party and more couple’s photos. Their rooftop ceremony, overlooking the city was very sweet and so full of laughter. I loved the “runway walk” they did so their guests could all take photos of them. The electric violinist was a very cool touch as well.

Totally worth laying on the ground for this one…I just love it!

This is definitely one of my favorites from Cynthia and Nathan’s Denver museum wedding photography. It’s not everyday you get to take couple’s portraits with some giant T-Rex bones!

Cynthia and Nathan’s reception had some really cool details as well. One of the most creative was an art installation made of Rubik’s cubes, that turned out to look like their cat. Guests really enjoyed watching the process of this being created. It turned out so colorful and impressive! They had a slideshow playing during the special dances with old photos of the couple. Including their yearbook entries to each other, long before they were a couple. Those were very special to read! These two really love Denver. Their favors were very fitting…magnets of the Denver skyline as well as yummy treats from Denver’s Hammond’s Candies. There was a massive rainstorm during their reception. Thank goodness it didn’t affect their outdoor ceremony or sunset portrait time. That made for a very cool light show through the wall of windows during the dinner and toasts though!

Wow, Cynthia and Nathan, what an awesome wedding day! I had such a blast with you and your family and friends. Your wedding day was full of special details and cherished moments. I won’t soon forget it! Thank you for trusting me to capture these images. I hope you will treasure them for a lifetime 🙂
