A new month is already upon us. The summer is flying! Looking forward to having some much needed time off and heading to the Florida panhandle before school starts up again. Hopefully it will be a fun-filled family vacation full of core memories 🙂 For the first blog post in the new month, I am sharing Jojo’s CO mountain senior pictures. She was here earlier this summer to play in a softball tournament. I had photographed some of her teammates last year and she wanted a senior session during her visit as well. We met up at South Mesa Trail for her Boulder session. This is always a popular choice, and so well loved by clients. South Mesa offers mountains and flatirons views, a wooden bridge, old stone building, open fields, and lots of mature trees.
Jojo was a sweet and beautiful young lady. She was pretty shy and quiet during her session, but hopefully she had some fun. She has such a chill and easy-going demeanor. I kept the posing and movement “easy breezy” so her session was fitting for her personality. Jojo is a natural beauty, no frills. She wore little to no make-up, and kept her long locks straight and smooth. She looked great, and so much like her authentic self!
Jojo wore three outfits for her Boulder senior session. She started in a black cropped tank top, jeans, and small hoop earrings. A neutral outfit that complimented well with all of the colorful Colorado scenery! Next a short floral dress, in white and pale pink. I like the photos that showed off her small flower vase tattoo. All the pretty flowers! Finally she ended in a short, lacy white dress. That always seems to be this generations go to senior session outfit. Almost every teen girl I photograph has a “LWD”…a little white dress.
This is one of my favorites from Jojo’s CO mountain senior pictures. I love that soft look off into the distance and this pretty scenery.
Because of Jojo’s softball schedule, we had to start her session a little later than I normally would. So we were still shooting up until sunset, to get her three outfits all in and get some good variety in. We happened to luck out with some nice colors in the sky on this evening. I got out my off-camera flash in order to best highlight the cotton candy skies. A picture perfect way to end her Colorado senior session!
