The Laughlin Family | Windsor Family Photos | Highland Meadows Golf Course

Another year, another amazing session with the Laughlin family! I have worked with these guys for over a decade now. At least a dozen sessions. They are always so wonderful, and truly some of my favorite clients. This year was extra special though. Michele and Justin were celebrating their 10 year wedding anniversary. So we went back to where it all began…their wedding venue, the Highland Meadows Golf Course in Windsor, Colorado. This session was two-fold. We captured a bunch of Windsor family photos as well as anniversary portraits for the happy couple.

Unfortunately, their venue is no longer hosting weddings and special events. I was bummed to hear this, as I really liked working there. But after several attempts, I was finally able to get in touch with someone to get permission for us to take photos at the venue anyway. Although we didn’t get inside the barn, we got a bunch of great photos all around the barn. We even took a couple golf carts over to the “big tree” where they had their wedding ceremony. Here we got some great couple’s photos of Michele and Justin. We even re-created a few pictures from their wedding day. Having their annual session at their wedding venue, was such a wonderful idea. I was so glad to be a part of it!

The Laughlin kiddos are some of the most photogenic kids I get to work with. Their little boys take direction very well for their age. And Justin’s older kids are adults now, so they are always great and cooperative. For the first time ever, we were actually missing a member of the family. Justin’s oldest child Brenden was currently living/working out-of-state. But we got him on FaceTime to be included in a few family and sibling photos. He couldn’t get out of it entirely LOL!

We re-created a few of their wedding photos. They have changed a lot in the past 10 years. Their love has only grown!

Saving the best for last! This is definitely one of my favorites from these Windsor family photos of the Laughlins. I love all of the vibrant colors and their candid, joyful expressions. You can tell they genuinely love spending time together!
