Today I am sharing Sarah and Scott’s fall wedding at Lionscrest Manor. I photographed this beautiful wedding earlier this month. It was a really beautiful and memorable day! There were so many things to love about Sarah and Scott’s wedding. First, Sarah’s bridal attire was amazing and unique. Especially her shin-length wedding dress. It looked great on her, and not a length you often see on brides. She also had custom Converse made, complete with their names, wedding date, and a ton of embroidered flowers. These were absolutely adorable and a comfortable alternative to heels once it was time to let loose on the dance floor.
Sarah and Scott had a very sweet and emotional first look. But it was not shared with just them, their family and closest friends watched from the balcony and they were just as moved as the couple. The tears were flowing! Their wedding guests were spoiled with delicious food, yummy cupcakes, succulent favors, a fun-filled dance floor, and even a surprise performance from the couple. Scott wrote a song which they sang together while he played the ukulele. They did such an incredible job, and it was so clear how much they love one another.
If you know me, you know I love color! These two did not shy away from color on their wedding day. Their main wedding colors were aqua, fuchsia, and pops of orange. Their florals from Longmont Florist incorporated these colors beautifully. Don’t get me wrong, a white bridal bouquet is lovely. But a multi-colored, vibrant bouquet makes my heart sing! I just love them! Another personalized detail that I really loved was their signature drink “the peach”. This was named after their sweet furbaby, also named Peach. We connected over our love for kitties during their engagement session. As I also have a food-named feline, Pumpkin. Mine is not an orange cat though, like you’d expect by the name. That’s what happens when a five-year-old names your new pet.

This is one of my favorites from Sarah and Scott’s fall wedding at Lionscrest Manor. I always love those views of Steamboat Mountain. Sarah and Scott have the sweetest smiles too!

Thanks so much Sarah and Scott. I had a great time working with both of you and your awesome families and friends! I hope you love these photos and will treasure them for many years to come. Wishing you a lifetime of wedding bliss 🙂 Next on the blog, Elijah’s Boulder senior photos. We incorporated his love of basketball for some great variety. Check back soon!
