Up next on the blog, Shannon’s Pomona High senior photos at the Anthem Ranch area in Broomfield. We met up at the Buffalo Ridge Medical Center. We captured a bunch of great portraits at all of the photo vignettes that this location offers. Photos on the bridge, in the open fields, with some of the large, mature trees and by Cascade and Buffalo Lakes. After a ton of great photos at the trails behind the medical center, we headed to a different part of the Anthem Ranch Community. This is a small flower “field” that I had spotted a few years ago. I have taken a handful of clients to this location. It’s really pretty! If you photograph it “right” the field will look a lot more expansive than it actually is. It will never be as epic as the lavender fields near Grand Junction, but it least it doesn’t require a four hour drive.
Shannon was very polite and seems like a really sweet young lady. She was on the quiet side, but she was very cooperative and courteous during the session. Shannon kept things pretty simple with just one outfit during her senior session. She wore a plaid v-neck dress in blues, black and white. The dress was accessorized with small star hoop earrings and a simple necklace. Shannon kept her outfit more casual with brown combat boots. She looked very nice. And I just love the shade of her beautiful red hair!
Before going into this flower field I always make sure my clients aren’t afraid of bees. Sometimes they have been very plentiful! But on this day, thankfully, we didn’t really see any.
This is definitely one of my favorites from Shannon’s Pomona High senior photos. I love that beautiful scene, Shannon’s soft smile, and feminine pose.
