Brooke – Class of 2026 | Silver Creek Senior Photography | Coot Lake

Back to Coot Lake today on the blog. If you missed Emily’s recent session at this location, check those photos out HERE. Today I am sharing Brooke’s Silver Creek senior photography session. Brooke was stunning, and oh so sweet! She actually found me and booked me all on her own. It’s really cool when a high schooler takes the initiative to arrange something important like this. It shows real maturity, which is so great before venturing out into adulthood. Brooke decided on Coot Lake for her senior session. We went on the trail that also connects to Boulder Reservoir and got a bunch of photos over there too.

Brooke wore three different outfits during her photoshoot. She started in olive green pants, a simple black top and some chunky, white heels. Next, was my personal favorite. Brooke wore a long, coral pink maxi dress. In this outfit she sported a cute straw hat for a handful of images. Accessories are always a good idea to add some variety into your session! Her final outfit was a black jumpsuit and the white wedge heels again. Brooke brought her track shoes along for a few photos that incorporated her high school athletic interests. I loved these vibrant, hot pink shoes…they added a perfect pop of color.

The weather was finally really cooperative for one of my sessions! It was a beautiful evening in Boulder. It was sunny, not scorching. And finally no major threat of a rainstorm. We ended the session with the most stunning golden hour light. This was followed by a colorful sunset over the mountains. These were definitely some of my favorite images during Brooke’s session.
