Ava – Class of 2026 | Boulder Lake Senior Pictures | Coot Lake

November is upon us already…this year is flying! My first post of the new month is beautiful Miss Ava. We went to Coot Lake for her Boulder lake senior pictures. It was such a dreary, dark evening. I used a bit more off-camera flash than I do on a normal session. The results were still really beautiful though and I am so glad the rain held off. This was not the first time I had Ava in front of my camera. I first met her when her dad and stepmom got married. She was so young then. She has matured into such a sweet and gorgeous young lady. I also captured a very fun family mini session with them during covid days. They brought along some masks, toilet paper, and some Corona beers for the adults. We definitely had some much needed laughs during a tough time!

Ava wore three different outfits during her senior session. She started in a pink strapless dress and some dark cowgirl boots. This color looked great on her and added some vibrance to the gloomy evening. Ava finished this outfit with simple jewelry, including a trendy arm cuff. Her second outfit was the most casual. She wore a white top with a tie detail and black crop top underneath. This was paired with jeans and some brown Adidas sneakers. Her final outfit was my personal favorite. She wore a brown dress with the prettiest, intricate lace detail. She wore the cowgirl boots again with this dress. Ava also went barefoot for a bit in this outfit, while splashing and posing in the reservoir. I really loved the brown color, because it was slightly different than the typical black or white dresses I see at nearly every session.

This shot may not show off the lake or reservoir at all, but it’s definitely one of my favorites from Ava’s Boulder lake senior pictures.

Ava, it was wonderful to have you in front of my camera again! I hope you really love these photos. Hopefully senior year is off to a great start.
