Today I am sharing beautiful Abby’s session. We decided on Golden Ponds for her Erie High senior portraits. It was such a lovely evening and we took advantage of all the great options that this location offers. We got photos by the waterfall, in the long grasses, on the bridge, and with the lake and mountain views. We also incorporated Abby’s love of dance into her senior pictures. As a dancer myself for over 30 years, I always love working with other dancers. Even though the posed dance portion was only at the very end, Abby was such a natural throughout the session. It was such a pleasure having her in front of my lens!
Abby decided on two main outfits for her senior session. As well as some final shots in one of her favorite recent dance costumes. She started in a long red skirt and a very cute off-shoulder, flutter sleeve white top. I love this bright pop of color! In this outfit we headed over to the waterfall. As well as on the bridge and in the sun-drenched field of long grasses. Her second outfit was my personal favorite. Abby wore a long dress with bright pink and green flowers, and a fun tie detail. Maybe I liked this because these were my wedding colors way back in 2010. She wore this dress with the sunflowers, against the trees, and with the lake and mountain views.
The lake and mountain views area is also where she did her dance poses and “action shots”. She wore a flowy, purple dress with unique cutouts on the side. This was such a stunning color on Abby! So complimentary with her strawberry blonde locks. Some passés, tendus, arabesques, attitudes, a few jumps and we called it a day.
This is one of my favorites from Abby’s Erie High senior portraits. I love that gorgeous light, Abby’s stunning red hair and bright smile. So pretty!
What a fun session Abby, thanks so much for allowing me to capture these for you! I hope your senior year is full of fun and lifelong memories with friends.
