Nathen – Class of 2026 | Senior Photography in Colorado | South Mesa Trail Boulder

Happy New Year to you and yours! I hope 2026 is off to a great start. Here is my first blog post of the new year. Nathen was referred to me by his friend and Silver Creek classmate Nolan. These two sessions were quite similar. Same scenic Boulder location, and both young men incorporated their baseball gear. I met up with Nathen and his mom at South Mesa Trail for this senior photography in Colorado. This location is beautiful and popular year round. But it is extra special during the fall. It’s the only Colorado location that I have seen that gets this colorful red ground foliage. I think it’s some kind of sumac, but may be totally wrong about that! Either way, we got some photos with it. That provided such a nice pop of color.

Nathen wore four different outfit during his senior session. He started in jeans and a simple black t-shirt. He wore white New Balance sneakers during his entire session. Secondly, he wore dark jeans and a blue button down long sleeve shirt. This was my personal favorite. This was a great color in this fall, mountain setting. His third outfit was light jeans and a short-sleeve black button down. He decided not to wear his baseball jersey during his session. Instead, this is the outfit he wore for the baseball senior pictures. He brought along a baseball, a bat, and his glove. The final outfit was worn on the wooden bridge and by the river. This was medium wash jeans, a white t-shirt with a blue stripped shirt over top.

This is definitely one of my favorites from Nathen’s senior photography in Colorado. That shade of blue looks so great against the background colors. I also love the scenery, and Nathen’s nice, natural smile.

Thanks Nathen, it was a great session! I hope the first half of your senior year has been wonderful. And I hope that your final high school baseball season is an amazing one.
