I hope you had a great Easter, friends! Hopefully you enjoyed a beautiful day with your loved ones. It was fun celebrating our little babe’s first holiday with our families. He looked so adorable in his new Easter outfit, complete with a little tie! Speaking of cute kids…meet beautiful miss Bryanna. She is a senior this year at Mead High School. It was such a pleasure meeting and photographing her in 2016. This has to be one of my favorite senior sessions to date. It was so fun to photograph her rustic Mead Colorado senior photos at her home, as well as Sandstone Ranch in Longmont. Bryanna is active in 4H and so it was important to have some of her farm animals in her photos. Photographing a cow was definitely a first for me, but it made the shoot a fun and memorable one!
Bryanna was such a pleasure to photograph. She is the sweetest, most polite young lady…and can we talk about that amazing red hair?! Bryanna sported some great, casual outfits during her Colorado senior photography session. They looked amazing on her, and allowed the colorful fall backdrops and her beautiful hair to really pop on camera! If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram, you probably saw me post about the Shoot and Share photography competition that I participated in earlier this year. My best photo in the competition placed 14th out of 8,928 photos in the styled shoot category! The first photo in this blog post (Bryanna and her cow) also did pretty well in the competition. It made it through 7 rounds of the competition and placed better than over 17,000 photos in the high school senior category. That’s the top 20% of all of the photos entered in the competition…which was a whopping 350k! That ranking wouldn’t have been possible without such a lovely subject 🙂
Haha…a little outtake for you! The cow was letting us know what she really thought about taking these photos 🙂
