Today on the blog, Jessica and Jon’s Lionscrest Manor Colorado wedding pictures. I had had such a fun time with these two during their summer engagement session in RMNP. I knew their wedding day would be light-hearted and so full of joy too. It sure was! And Lionscrest Manor is always a good choice for a picture perfect Colorado wedding day. It was also so great to work with Sami Rotter from The Perfect Moment Events. We both grew up dancing at Dance Dimensions in Longmont. I was even able to coach her on Niwot’s dance team for a season. She is killing it in the wedding industry…it’s been so great to see!

There was a lot to love about Jess and Jon’s wedding celebration. Some of the most memorable moments included their wedding dessert. They opted for a pie in place of a wedding cake. But the most unique part of it was Jon’s groomsmen presented them with an ax to cut it. It was very unexpected…their guests really enjoyed the moment! I also really loved the first look between Jessica and her bridesmaids/mother-in-law. The girls had an awesome reaction and Jessica was loving it while flaunting that beautiful dress!

Jessica and Jon had some really great wedding details. They had a large US map where guests added a pin indicating where they were traveling from for the wedding. Their memorial table was really unique too. They had bottles painted white with flowers and family members names on the bottles. Those were in remembrance of loved ones that have passed. What a lovely tribute! They spoiled their guests with an open bar, decadent dessert table, as well as a chocolate bar wedding favor. Yum! Jess and Jon ended their lively dance party with a glow stick exit. Those are always so fun and colorful to photograph. It was a great ending to an epic wedding day in the Colorado mountains.

This is definitely one of my favorites from Jess and Jon’s Lionscrest Manor Colorado wedding pictures. I always love a groom lifting his lady in the air, especially on the edge of a cliff like this. So romantic!

Thanks so much Jessica and Jon…I hope you are loving newlywed life! It was great to work with you guys. Thank you for allowing me to capture these images for you. I hope you will cherish them for all of your happily married years together. On the blog next, the Harnisch family’s memorable Wyoming family session at Vedauwoo.
