Today’s blog post is a gorgeous, intimate, Loveland farm wedding. Chelsea and Devon were married at the Wilder-Nest Retreats in late May. I had never heard of this venue prior to booking Chelsea and Devon, but it was a great choice. I hope to go back very soon 🙂 The grounds are just beautiful, with old rustic buildings, horses, a stream, and amazing red rocks and mountain views! Chelsea is in the early stages of her wedding planning business and she is clearly talented. There were so many sweet, DIY details throughout the day. I especially loved the pink rose centerpieces that she made, and the cute ceremony and reception signs. Although the day was not without a few hiccups (like the rain during their outdoor reception), Chelsea was as cool as a cucumber. She will be a great wedding coordinator!
The wedding was also such a special day because of the important role their son Ryder played! He is so loved by his parents, and it was fun to have him incorporated throughout the day. It was truly the joining of the three of them (even if Ryder slept through the ceremony LOL), and I am so grateful to have been a part of it.
Reading through her vows one more time 🙂
And…it was first look time!
Love this “tilt-shift” look my 2nd shooter, Cary, captured with her lensbaby 🙂
Devon’s reaction when they realized Mr. Ryder had fallen asleep in his arms!
It was a tiring day for the littles LOL!
The best man speech was pretty epic, with this giant champagne glass 🙂 Everyone had a great laugh!
Ryder liked looking at the photos I took of him!
And then the rain came! As you can see, Chelsea remained very positive…nothing was ruining their day!
When the storm passed, the party resumed!
I had a wonderful time with this sweet family of three! They are all so in love, and have so much fun together. I hope to photograph them for many years to come 🙂
xoxo,
Melissa
