Amanda + Jordan | Kansas Wedding Photography | Rustic Wedding

Before Amanda and Jordan hired me as their wedding photographer, I had never heard of Scott City, Kansas.  My husband drove my 2nd shooter, Sharee, and I all the way to Kansas and back.  We made it into a pretty fun road trip though, and had some good laughs 🙂  Scott City is a small, sweet, tight knit community.  Everyone was very welcoming, and Amanda and Jordan are just the sweetest couple!  I had a great time photographing their wedding, and hope to have more Kansas wedding photography opportunities in the future 🙂  The couple and their families put so much thought and detail into planning this beautiful, rustic, DIY wedding.  They truly transformed their reception venue!  The cake table display and candy buffet were especially amazing, as was all of the gorgeous purple uplighting.  All of their hard work definitely paid off, the day went off without a hitch!

Amanda & Jordan had some great locations picked out for our portrait time!  This added a lot of variety to the photos, and helped me tremendously since I had never been to Scott City.
