Alli + Carlos | Longmont Wedding Photographer | Historic Hover Home

Alli & Carlos had a beautiful, vintage wedding at the historic Hover Home.  I grew up in Longmont, but I actually have not had that many opportunities as a Longmont wedding photographer.  I was so glad to work with this pair, and a great team of local vendors.  I have driven by the Hover Home probably a thousand times in my life, but I had never been inside until their walk-through.  The home is beautiful, and so well maintained.  It was really fun playing with the old hats, and taking photos on the vintage furniture.  Alli & Carlos were planning for an outdoor wedding ceremony and reception, and so nerves were definitely high when the midday rainstorm came.  We waited it out, and the couple never lost their cool.  The storm passed and brought with it a stunning sunset, which was one of the most desired photos from the couple.  I think we delivered on some beautiful sunset shots…I love them!!  The wedding was beautifully decorated and detailed.  The long farm table with a huge variety of vintage centerpieces looked amazing.  The guests thoroughly enjoyed the Mariachi Band, the photo booth, dancing under the stars, and waving glow sticks as the couple exited for the night!

Alli’s maid-of-honor presented Carlos with a book of boudoir photos that I had taken for Alli…ooh la la!!  This built the anticipation of seeing his bride, just minutes later, for their “first look”.

Carlos’ mom’s reaction to seeing Alli was so sweet…she was very emotional 🙂

And it was finally first look time!  I loved their first look…it was sweet, emotional, and private.  The couple hugged, prayed, cried, Carlos presented Alli with a beautiful necklace, it was an example of why I love first looks so much!

Before the reception we did a few more bride & groom photos.

We had to do some cute photos with Carlos’ dad’s truck!

After they cut their cake we headed over to McIntosh Lake for a few sunset pictures.  Alli prayed and prayed there would be a beautiful sunset…and there was!!

Thanks so much Alli & Carlos, it was such a fun day and you are a super sweet couple!  Wishing you an equally beautiful life together 🙂
