I am so excited to finally share this gorgeous wedding with you!! Ashton & Andrew’s Steamboat Springs wedding photos are some of my favorites from 2015 🙂 They were married on the lawn at the Thunderhead Lodge, on top of the mountain at the Steamboat Springs ski resort. Andrew proposed at Steamboat, so it was very fitting to have their wedding there too. They were married in June, on the longest day of the year. They had an evening ceremony, but it was still super bright and sunny out there…but oh so beautiful! Ashton and Andrew chose a vibrant purple and coral/orange color scheme. You know me, I LOVE color! All the florals were just stunning, and they even brought the color scheme into their cake design. They also had a few rustic details, as well as some ski-themed elements. Their table names were inspired by the various names of ski runs. If you are looking for chic ski-themed wedding inspiration…look no further!
We also lucked out with a gorgeous Colorado sunset! I am so glad they wanted to slip out of their reception for a few minutes to take advantage of it. While they were out, we got a few chairlift wedding photos as well. This was not my first Colorado ski resort wedding, but my first time photographing at the Steamboat resort. I just loved it! The Thunderhead Lodge was truly transformed into a glamorous mountain wedding reception. I hope to go back for more Colorado mountain weddings very soon.
And then we were off to the Thunderhead Lodge!

Ashton felt like a million bucks…and for very good reason! She looked beyond stunning, and had one of the most gorgeous wedding gowns I have ever soon 🙂
