Danielle + Jeff | Brookside Gardens Colorado Wedding | Berthoud Wedding Photography

Wow…how is it Monday again?!  Wedding season officially begins this week 🙂  But it looks like it’s going to be super windy, and probably rainy.  I hope the meteorologists are wrong (especially about the wind, because it’s one of the biggest challenges in wedding photography)!  But taking you back to much warmer days around here today.  First up on the blog this week is Danielle & Jeff’s Brookside Gardens Colorado wedding.  This was my first time at this venue, which is crazy because I had lived less than ten minutes away from it for over 8 years.  Brookside Gardens is such a cute spot!  It has beautiful flowers all over, a few rows of aspen trees, a nice little waterfall with a stone bridge, and some rustic buildings/elements on the property.  There is also a salon and spa on the property, which I need to check out because I am somewhat of a spa rat…when I have the time (and money)!  They did such an amazing job on Danielle’s hair and make-up too, by the way.

Danielle and Jeff had a very colorful summer wedding in 2015.  I absolutely loved the vibrant hot pink and orange florals, and the unique, ruffly bridesmaids’ dresses.  Danielle had not one, but two, stunning wedding dresses.  The first had a sweetheart neckline, with lace and rhinestones throughout.  Her bridal look was completed with some killer sparkly heels, and a dramatic cathedral veil.  Her second dress was long and slinky, and easily allowed her to get down on the dance floor!  To say she made a beautiful bride, would definitely be an understatement.  We can’t forget about Jeff though…he looked very handsome too.

I just loved Jeff’s reaction to seeing his bride walking down the aisle…she definitely took his breath away!

These two did not hold back with the cake smash LOL!

I just love this one that Chelsea captured by dragging the shutter, it looked so cool with the little white lights 🙂
