Yay…I have made it to the first engagement session for one of my 2016 couples! Here is Marlise and Mike. Marlise’s sister is one of my wonderful second shooters, Kristina. I was so honored that she referred me to her sis, and very happy to be photographing their September golf course wedding 🙂 For their Evergreen engagement photos, we met at a little hidden gem, Frosberg Park. While the fall colors were on their way out, we still got a lot of pretty yellow and orange in the background. We walked along the trail for quite aways, taking in the beauty of the Colorado rocky mountains. Eventually the trail leads to this small reservoir, called Beaver Brook Reservoir (I believe), with gorgeous mountain views. We spent a few minutes taking photos by the reservoir, and then we decided to make the trek back towards the car because we were losing light. We wanted to make sure they got some photos in their second outfits, especially Marlise’s cute lace romper. I had fun with these two, and their big day will be here before we know it! I know it’s going to be a fun-filled wedding day.
They have been together for a long time, so these signs were fitting…and super cute!
