The Showalter Family | Evergreen Family Photos | Colorado Family Photography

Over the years I have captured many photo sessions for Jessica and her family…engagement, boudoir, wedding, maternity, newborn and now their Evergreen family photos!  I have known Jessica for nearly 20 years, and I just love catching up with her every time we have a photo session.  For their fall family photography session I headed back to Frosberg Park, in Evergreen.  We went just 3 days after Marlise and Mike’s engagement photos there, but it definitely lost a lot of it’s color.  Don’t get me wrong, it was still gorgeous (and a much warmer day than the engagement session), but one of the areas had lost pretty much all of it’s leaves.  It just shows you how quickly things change during fall in Colorado.  I had a wonderful time photographing this little family.  Speaking of changes…I had not seen little miss Layla since I did her newborn photos in early 2014.  She is such a sweet, precious toddler.  She is very serious at times, but I was able to get a few smiles out of her 🙂  They put together some great outfits for their Colorado family photography session.  They all went together so well, without being too “matchy”.  I loved the jean jacket that they put on Layla for some of the photos too.  And an adorable beanie in her mom and dad’s wedding colors, pink and gray…so cute!
