The Atchison Family | Benson Sculpture Garden | Colorado Family Photos

Hey there friend, hope you are having a great week!  I can’t believe it’s almost Friday again, this week really got away from me.  I have a very busy weekend ahead…I am meeting one of my out-of-state brides for the first time tomorrow, I have James and Ann’s Highlands Ranch Mansion on Saturday, and a top secret boudoir session on Sunday.  I am very excited for this boudoir session.  Not only is it my first boudoir session of 2016, but it’s also the first at my new house!  While I wish I had all of my decorating done, it will still photograph well.  I am still working on my blog post of Mikala and Robby’s epic Laramie wedding, but it is not looking like I will finish it tonight.  Since I still wanted to get something posted for you tonight, here is the sweet Atchison family.  I did their Loveland family photos at Benson Sculpture Garden at the end of November.  It was absolutely freezing out!!  We decided to tough it out, as winter was upon us and they wanted to get some photos captured in time for Christmas cards.  With the temperature in the teens, this session became more of a mini-session than what I normally offer.  We would shoot for 10 minutes, then warm up in the cars for 10 minutes.  Don’t let the sunshine fool you LOL!  It was definitely one of my coldest sessions to date.  This family was super sweet, and I would love to photograph them again someday when the weather decides to cooperate a bit more 🙂
