Jamie is a wonderful photographer, and a fellow Trulife Studio member! She recently welcomed her first child into the world, a precious son named Grayson. I was lucky enough to finally meet Jamie and even have her in front of my camera for a quick little photographer’s shoot out earlier this year. As a photographer, she is very aware how to pose, she didn’t really need any instruction. It’s not really fair how photogenic she is though! We captured these Boulder maternity photos on the private land of one of my other dear photographer friends (and frequent second shooter), Kelly. Kelly and her husband have 75 acres outside of Boulder, in Louisville, and it was such a fun, gorgeous afternoon. The land has a little creek, some silos, a red barn, open fields, and some beautiful, mature trees. More of this great scenery to come in my future blog posts from this afternoon…so please check back 🙂 Jamie is such a sweet and joyful person, and has wonderful style to boot! I just loved this wide brim fedora hat (I think it’s considered a fedora, though I am not hat expert LOL!) that she wore for some of the photos. In fact, these photos inspired one of my more recent maternity clients so much, that she also sported a fedora for some of her Colorado maternity photos. You will have to wait a few months for that blog post though. Sheesh…I am still so far behind! I have made it down to about 30 more posts to share with you though, but my list is growing all the time. Hopefully someday I will truly be caught up and can blog right after I deliver my galleries. A girl can dream!
I had some fun with my prism during this maternity session!
Well, don’t you kinda hate her a little bit for how gorgeous she is while pregnant? I kid, I kid, but most of us are not even that beautiful on our best non-pregnant day 🙂 Jamie, thanks for being so amazing to photograph for these Colorado maternity photos. I hope you are enjoying motherhood so far, and had an amazing first mother’s day this past weekend!
