Whitney + Travis | Rustic Colorado Engagement Photos | Limon Photographer

Whitney and Travis are such an adorable couple, getting married in their hometown of Limon this summer.  I helped my friend, Carylee Photography, photograph their siblings’ wedding a few years back.  How cool is that…Whitney’s brother is married to Travis’ sister?  She and her sister-in-law are swapping last names 🙂  I drove to Whitney’s family’s land in Limon to capture their engagement photos early this year.  Although it was the dead of winter, the weather was sunny and beautiful.  Colorado weather sure is silly (considering it’s mid-May today and only in the 40’s today)!  Whitney and Travis’ rustic Colorado engagement photos were so much fun!  The property is beautiful and offered so many options for backdrops, including rustic buildings, and fences, wide open golden fields, and great mature trees.  We also got photos of them on some hay bails, with Travis’ truck, and then ended with them cuddling by the fire pit.  These two are quite photogenic, and made my job very easy.  They are both super sweet to boot…I can’t wait for the wedding!

I climbed on a hay bail for my trash the dress session 6 years ago, so this brought back some fun memories 🙂  They were up for anything, and I always appreciate that!
