Lene + Jason | Hudson Gardens Wedding | Littleton Wedding Photographer

Happy Monday!  We got back from Vegas late last night and I am not going to lie, it’s been a little rough getting back into my groove today.  We had a pretty fun time, spent way too much money though…I guess that’s how it goes!  The first blog post of this week is Lene and Jason’s Hudson Gardens wedding.  I have shot multiple times at Hudson Gardens, but this was actually my first wedding here.  It’s a great venue, and is a beautiful option for those couples wanting a colorful Colorado garden wedding.  Lene and Jason had a non-traditional, joyous, morning wedding in September.  I photographed seven weddings in September (my busiest month ever), and this was one of the busiest weekends because I photographed a Laramie wedding the night before.  After this long weekend, I most definitely slept in on Monday LOL (not unlike this Monday either)!  It was so worth it, though, to share in the love stories of two wonderful couples!  Some of the most memorable moments from Lene and Jason’s Inn at Hudson Gardens wedding were the fact that Lene whipped together her gorgeous updo in a few quick minutes herself (so impressive), their champagne toast during their ceremony, and all of the really cool reception details.  I especially loved the fact that they had their wedding guests sign a pair of skis with their well-wishes.  This was a very unique wedding guestbook idea!  They also had some amazing food options for their guests, which included a ton of breakfast items (even chicken and waffles), a bloody mary bar, an amazing dessert table, and an ice cream cart which helped cool everyone down as they played lawn games on this sunny morning.  They wanted a very laid-back celebration, and that’s just what it was!  Congrats Lene and Jason…what a fun day 🙂
