Happy Friday friends! Another weekend has arrived, and it’s going to be a busy one. I am so excited to witness and capture the heartfelt moments, as two wonderful couples exchange their vows this weekend. I can’t believe it’s been four weeks since my last wedding. A double header weekend should make up for it 😉 Up on the blog this evening, is the last of my September 2015 weddings. Becky and Brady’s wedding at the YMCA of the Rockies Snow Mountain Ranch. WOW…was it a good one! Becky and Brady gave us a bunch of time for portraits (which I always love). As a result, their Winter Park wedding photos had a lot of variety. My in-laws have a cabin literally five minutes from the YMCA and I have driven by it countless times over the years. However, this was my first wedding there. The location is absolutely stunning!
Becky and Brady really, really wanted a lot of fall color, and especially colorful aspens, in their wedding photos. They sure did time their wedding right! There was yellow in every direction that you looked. It was a very picturesque Colorado mountain setting, and I really hope I can photograph another wedding there very soon. Besides being a beautiful location, the details that Becky and Brady had for their big day were amazing. Their families helped them tremendously, and everything was executed perfectly. It’s hard to pick a favorite detail! But some of my favorites were the colorful aspen tree centerpieces, and their paper flower bouquets and boutonnieres that included flowers made out of Colorado maps. I mean, come on…how stinking cute is that?! I love clever, personalized details. Their day was full of them 🙂
Becky and Brady also had one of the most packed dance floors that I have photographed. Guests had an amazing time…people were jumping, flipping, sliding and lifting, left and right. The photo booth props went way beyond the booth, as guests sported them on the dance floor for all of the fun shenanigans. All of the members of the Village People were represented (get it…YMCA?!) LOL! In addition, Sasquatch even made an appearance. I don’t think the day could have gone any better. Most of all, there was love and laughter everywhere.
Haha…so a fireman came into the salon to use the tanning bed, and happened to have the mountain firemen calendar with him. One of Becky’s bridesmaids took the liberty of getting her an autographed copy. Becky’s reaction was priceless LOL!
Since fall in Colorado can be unpredictable, the ladies were prepared with their knit scarves and gloves. Even though they didn’t need them for warmth, we still wanted to get some photos with them. What a cute touch!
Finally, it was time to see each other and get hitched already 🙂
It was a very active dance floor! People were getting DOWN…and up 😉
