Hi friends, I am so sorry for my absence from the blog! Things have been so extremely busy lately. Not only is it busy season with fall portraits and finishing editing thousands of wedding photos, but I am also 20 weeks pregnant with my first baby 🙂 If that wasn’t already a lot, I had myself a couple gallstone attacks and had to have surgery a few weeks ago to remove my gallbladder. Whew…it’s been crazy! It’s kind of a fun coincidence that my first post back are some maternity photos Denver though. I started this post a few months ago, and figured I better finally get it posted. Better late than never!
Before the photos of beautiful Alyssa and Kale, I wanted to share a couple personal photos from my own pregnancy. The first, is the photo we used to announce our pregnancy to friends and non-immediate family. The second, we posted last week, when we found out the baby’s gender. Thanks to my sparkler “partner in crime”, Sharee Davenport, for all her help with this photo. I kinda love how these turned out!
Without further ado, Alyssa and Kale’s maternity photos from this spring at Lair o’ the Bear park. I have since captured family photos with their new addition, you will have to check back for those 🙂 I have known Alyssa for years. We used to dance together for the Colorado Eagles Chicks. It was really fun to finally get her in front of my lens. I just loved spending this afternoon with them, anticipating the arrival of baby Beckett. Alyssa was absolutely glowing and she makes pregnancy look amazing! I loved the addition of the floppy hat for some of the photos. It was especially funny when Kale threw it on for a minute too haha…glad I captured that outtake!
A funny little outtake of Kale LOL!
